Play 2 Airdrop Season 2: More Rewards, More Action!

Today we announce the launch of Play 2 Airdrop (P2A) Season 2, kicking off on November 5 and running for four weeks. This new season gives both returning and new players more opportunities to engage, play, and earn $TMA tokens as we build momentum together in The Machines Arena (TMA). With the success of Season 1, we’re ready to expand rewards and grow the community, bringing more exposure to the $TMA token and TMA game.

Why Season 2 now?

After discussions with our community, it became clear that consistent engagement and rewards remain important as we prepare for the Token Generation Event (TGE). In Season 1, the community unlocked 4.8% of the total 7% allocation for P2A tokens, leaving 2.2% available for Season 2. While this second season wasn’t initially planned for 2024, we decided to press forward with it to better support our players and keep our community active and engaged.

Success from Season 1

Key numbers from Season 1 highlighted how much players enjoyed the gameplay experience, especially with the high volume of matches played and extended session lengths. Here’s a quick look at some of the standout stats

• 250,000 matches played
• 1.1 million quests completed
• 5.5 billion damage dealt
• Average session length of 85 minutes
• An average of 8 matches per session
• 1.7M Devol kills

These numbers show strong engagement from the community, with players consistently spending time in-game and returning for multiple matches per session. With this foundation, Season 2 is set to build on that momentum, making gameplay even more rewarding and accessible.

What’s New in Season 2

To make this season more accessible and rewarding, we’ve introduced several changes focused on enhancing engagement and making participation simpler.

Here’s what’s new:

• 4-Week Duration: A dedicated season for players to jump in, earn rewards, and grow.
• 22 Million $TMA Tokens Available: This season distributes the remaining 2.2% allocation of P2A tokens.
• Teams Member Cap and Score Reset: Teams have been reset, with a maximum size of 100 players. Team signups will open before P2A Season 2 begins.
• Simple Entry Requirement: To qualify for the leaderboard, players need to play 20 matches, no VIP needed.
• VIP Benefits: VIP still yields a daily points bonus but is not required for sponsor codes.
• Increased Emphasis on Matches Played: This season, match participation carries even more value, rewarding consistent play as the primary way to earn.

These updates reflect the goals of P2A Season 2 by enhancing accessibility, emphasizing engagement and rewarding active involvement, all in support of building a stronger community.
